Dr. Janelle Alex, Ph.D. is the Writer’s Shaman & Coach for women, who feel the call to make a real difference and have a bigger impact, but they don’t know how to start. She helps them discover what they’re being called to do and create a doable plan that fits their lifestyle, so they can create personal freedom while doing work that feeds their soul. While she uses a blend of body consciousness, spiritual psychology, transpersonal counseling, animal energy and spiritual connection, she also uses very practical and down-to-earth approaches.
She has spent the past 26 years helping others connect to their creative energy – their life force energy. She teaches how to integrate unique, yet practical, spiritual tools to traverse the journey of relationship with yourself, your family, and your Soul’s Mission.
She graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Criminology. Her graduate degrees include a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University), Masters in Metaphysical Sciences from the University of Metaphysics and her Ph.D. in Transpersonal Counseling from the University of Sedona. Her dissertation was Sacred Intimacy: Transforming Your Life Through Sacred Relationship.
As a best selling author, speaker, and media host she’s interviewed over 500 guests and been interviewed over 120 times. Some of her books include Collaborate with Your Soul; Richer Together: Secrets to Working, Living and Loving Side-by-Side; and the Full Moon Approaches. Janelle’s newest book, Soul Gap, was released in December 2016, and she’s currently working on a new contemporary women’s fiction series focused on empowering women while being based on her family’s travels.
